Kris Jenner got emotional while talking about her love life on Sunday on Beyond Candid With Giuliana.
The 58-year-old matriarch of the Kardashian clan need to take a break while speaking to host Giuliana Rancic about her late husband Robert Kardashian.
She was recounting how Robert had called to inform her that he had cancer about 12 years after their divorce.
'The knowledge that he had cancer was one thing, but to think it would actually take his life. I never in a million years thought that would happen to him,' she said.
Kris then fanned her face with her hands as tears started to swell.
'It still stings so bad, like it's so fresh,' she said before asking for a tissue to wipe her eyes.
Kris admitted in her autobiography to having a torrid affair while married to Robert and their marriage started to crumble after 10 years as they drifted apart.
'I wasn't mature enough to know that marriage has its ups and downs,' she said.
Their divorce will 'always be a regret,' she told 40-year-old Giuliana.
Kris said that oldest child Kourtney who was aged 11 at the time took the split the hardest.
'Kourtney wore black for like five years. She was in denial and didn't want to accept anyone taking her dad's place.'
After the divorce Kris said she planned on focusing her attention on being the best mother to Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and son Rob.
That lasted for about three weeks when Candace Garvey, the wife of former Los Angeles Dodgers star baseball player Steve Garvey, set her up on a date with Bruce Jenner.
They went out and were married five months later, Kris told Giuliana.
Kris said she, Bruce and ex-husband Robert decided to put the children first and showed 'a united
'It makes me really sad. I feel like I failed at something because I wanted it to be that relationship for the rest of my life,' Kris told Giuliana.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also talked about her good friend Nicole Brown Simpson and recalled the moment when she learned of her stabbing death.
'You feel the room twirling. It was probably one of the worst days of my life,' Kris said.

The 'surreal' experience was exacerbated as ex-husband Robert became a part of OJ Simpson's legal defence team.
'The day she was killed everyone's life that knew her and loved her changed forever,' Kris said.
'She was an amazing girl. Not only beautiful on the outside but so beautiful on the inside and such a great mom. We shared a lot of life-changing moments together,' she said.
The interview ended with Kris making Giuliana pasta primavera from a recipe included in her new cookbook due out later this month titled In the Kitchen With Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites.
The 'upside' of her divorce was that Robert would get the kids every other weekend allowing her and Bruce to have some time alone.
She started managing Bruce's speaking engagements and that paved the way for her later becoming the so-called momager of her children.
The interview showed a 20-year-old video clip of Bruce happily announcing that Kris was pregnant with their first child together Kendall.
Less than two years later, Kris was again pregnant with her sixth child Kylie.
The pregnancy was a rough one with Kris suffering from gestational diabetes and she decided that would be her last pregnancy.
She also reflected on her pending divorce from Bruce after more than 20 years of marriage.
